How therapy works
Therapy sessions are 50 minutes long. I recommend you come weekly, especially in the beginning. This provides the best opportunity for you to see outcomes from your sessions.
How do we begin?
We begin by exploring your experiences on all levels: thoughts, feelings, physical sensations, and (if applicable) spiritually. We will assess what you want out of therapy to clarify how your life will be different if therapy is successful for you. By establishing goals together you will experience transparency regarding the work and the process. And then we begin, in a journey that brings to light answers that are right for you and therefore allows you to create meaningful changes in your life.
How long will I need therapy?
The duration that people stay in therapy varies greatly. Part of our initial assessment will be to determine what makes sense for your therapeutic goals.
